Dinara Urazova is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science. She studies the ways that the new techno-social environment is transforming domestic and international politics. She is particularly interested in the new forms of power that arise due to changes in communication technologies, how certain political projects are enabled by these changes, and how actors navigate this emergent environment. Her regional concentration is the post-Soviet space with a particular focus on Russia. In studying politics, she is interested in intellectual history, qualitative research methods, and historical sociology.
